Billy Jack Haynes, a former WWE professional wrestler revealed today that he is suing the WWE due to him contracting Hepatitis C while in a WWE Bloody Wrestling Match. Billy isn’t the first to have this happen as there has been other wrestlers in the past who have also had the same issue happen to them. Vince McMahon’s company the WWE has yet to comment on this matter, their more than likely getting ready for the inevitable lawsuit heading their way.
Mr. Haynes provided all of the needed paperwork in order to prove that he contracted his disease in 1987, a year before he left the WWE due to his medical condition. Billy has been trying to get this case into federal court for the last two decades but is now only seeing it reach trail. The eighties were a time of partying and wrestling was a beloved sport, those professional wrestlers easily could access drugs and woman who contracted diseases due to their lifestyle.
Billy has said that the WWE is at fault for his disease as at the time they didn’t do anything in order to ensure that the wrestlers were safe but instead would encourage for themselves to hurt each other till the point they bled. It wasn’t until a decade ago that Bloody WWE Matches were ended and that “Fake Wrestling” became a reality. There are other wrestlers who have contracted a disease through their Bloody Matches who are backing up Billy, he is asking for $5 Million due to suffering & medical bills.
